Dear Friends,
I need your help. I am asking all of my friends to join me by walking with Compassion and/or donating $1-5 to end child poverty around the world.
Every dollar donated to this cause I am passionate about is very much appreciated.
My family will be very appreciative If you could take the time to join our walk with Compassion for our sponsored child Ainembabazi on Saturday, July 16 @ 9:30 AM at Heather Farm Park, 301 N San Carlos Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596
If you decide to register for the walk or make a very small donation (only $1-5), please go to: http://www.walkwithcompassion.com/participant/bob
As most of you know, I was born and raised in the Republic of the Congo, Africa where more than 70% of the population (including children) live below the poverty line. I am blessed to be a U.S. citizen with the opportunity to support and defend the constitution of the United States of America, the most prosperous and powerful country on earth.
Thanks a million for making a difference in a cause I am deeply passionate about.
With a monthly donation of $38, my family has been supporting Ainembabazi since 2011, a teenager from Uganda (Africa) pictured above who happens to share the same birthday as my daughter. Our small monthly donation has a real impact giving Ainembabazi a strong opportunity to overcome poverty by providing safe and nurturing programs, medical attention, school, leadership, and employment opportunities that just will not be possible without the phenomenal work of Compassion International in Uganda.
If you decide to sponsor a needy child for $38 monthly, please go to:http://www.compassion.com/sponsor_a_child/
Here is what you have helped us raise so far:
Every dollar given will be matched dollar for dollar up to $456, the amount needed to support Ainembabazi for a full year.
Thanks a million for donating to a cause I deeply care about.
