I met CDR Bob Fabien back in 2011 when I was stationed at NOSC San Jose, CA. Back then I was just getting into Information Technology as my new career and going through college. I used to report to him as one of our Offcer in charge for our unit. When I learned about his IT background I asked him to be my mentor, which he took seriously andWhenever I have questions anything about IT he would take his time and explain things and in a way that is really easy to understand and follow. He truly inspired me and now I reached a level that could’ve not been able to reached if I didn’t have an awesome mentor like Sir Bob Fabien.
I became certified on many IT areas and now have very successful career in IT field of Telecom and Network Engineering. Now I am also mentoring and training multiple protégé that want to break into IT field. I am currently working on my CCNA Security and CCNP; and I know that if ever need help I could always count on CDR Bob Fabien. He would be a great asset on any leadership position on any IT organization.
